Application Requirements
International applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- achieved level 4 or higher on the Standard Test of Proficiency in Korean (S-TOPIK) administered by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation
- completed level 4 or higher on the Regular Korean Language Course at CNU Language Education Center
- achieved level 4 or higher on the mock Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) administered by CNU Language Education Center

▲ New Entry (freshman)
International students who have foreign parents and have completed or are expected to complete the educational curriculum equivalent to elementary, middle, and high school courses in Korea.
▲ Transfer (Sophomore, Junior)
International students who have foreign parents and have completed the educational curriculum equivalent to elementary, middle, and high school courses in Korea, and intend to transfer as sophomore or junior students to CNU after completing 2 or more years of courses at a Korean or foreign university, or after graduating from a Korean or foreign university.
※ Common requirements for both new entry and transfer students: Those who expect to complete courses should obtain a certificate of completion or graduation by the end of February 2009 to be admitted to CNU for the Spring 2009 semester.
